A Shetland Poet's View
Come draw your chair up to the fire And stay awhile with me While I tell you of my homeland The Isles across the sea; Where there's birds to watch and fish to catch And heather hills to climb And times when darkness never fades In the land of the Simmer Dim - Part of a poem written by Shetland poet - Rhoda Bulter
Welcome
We hope to see you soon in this most relaxing and idyllic place.
As you can see, we offer a very tranquil location, with a serene and rugged beauty, sometimes at peace - when we might venture forth over the hills, sometimes wild - when we venture forth anyway but are glad of a cosy retreat like Boatsroom.
